7f. Mounted Front Fairing with Hand Guard

The hand guard after a cloth, mat, cloth structural layer plus a 3" wide seam cloth for joint carry through strength.

Once the fiber glass has cured, all the foam has to be removed.  Then a 2" wide strip of fiber glass cloth is bonded along the inside joint to provide additional strength for the attachment seam.

Next we began creating the opening for the left halogen light.  Cut and fit, cut and fit.

Final fitting of the F-18 front fairing.  Bob had to rotate the handlebar to the left and right extremes while wearing his racing leather gloves to insure adequate hand and brake lever clearance.

Side Tank - all sanded, primered and ready for final silver paint and addition of the sponsors name.
